APC National Secretary Visits Adeleke, Says Talks Held to Deliver Osun for Tinubu in 2027

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, has visited Osun State Governor, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, with discussions on efforts to deliver the state for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Basiru disclosed this on Sunday after his visit to Governor Adeleke, saying the meeting was also aimed at congratulating the governor on his recent electoral victory and appreciating him for attending the burial of his late mother.

According to the APC National Secretary, Governor Adeleke had promised to support efforts towards delivering Osun State for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Basiru said, “On a congratulatory visit to His Excellency, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his victory at the polls, and to specially appreciate him for his visit during the burial of my late mother, as well as to discuss how to deliver Osun for Mr. President, as promised by Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the 2027 Presidential Election.”

The visit comes amid growing political realignments in Osun State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
