Defending Nigeria Women Football League champions, Bayelsa Queens, suffered a painful exit after losing 5-4 on penalties to Ibom Angels following a 1-1 draw in regulation time in Awka.
Rivers Angels secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Abia Angels to advance to the quarter-finals, while FC Robo Queens edged Remo Stars Ladies 5-3 in a pulsating South-West derby.

Heartland Queens produced one of the standout performances of the round with an emphatic 4-0 triumph over Ahudiyannem Queens, as Sunshine Queens defeated Plateau United Queens 2-0 to continue their impressive run in the competition.

Confluence Queens recorded the biggest win of the round, thrashing Esthington FC 8-0 in a ruthless display of attacking football.
