The Kwara State Government has approved the reinstatement of the Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, bringing an end to a suspension that kept him away from office for more than four months.
Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed has now been directed to resume his duties as the chief executive officer of the institution following the conclusion of the state government’s review of the issues that led to his suspension. His return marks a significant development in the administration of one of Kwara State’s foremost tertiary institutions.Recall that the public announcement of the Rector’s suspension was made on January 21, 2026.
