The Outstanding Nigeria Forward Bashiru Kafayat has returned to action for Kayserispor in the new season of the Turkish Women’s Football Super League, wearing the vice-captain’s armband.
Kafayat comes into the new season after an outstanding campaign last season, where she made history by breaking the Turkish Women’s League Division 1 goalscoring record with 44 goals.

Kafayat featured in second league fixture of the season against Antalyaspor and getting a spot in the starting XI for her club.
The Forward provided an assist for fellow Nigerian Precious Uju Obasi, who found the back of the net as Kayserispor played out a 1-1 draw against Antalyaspor.
Her impressive goalscoring form made her one of the standout players in the league and raised expectations ahead of the new campaign.

With the new season now underway, Kafayat will continue from where she stopped last season and playing her role more effectively in Kayserispor’s campaign.
Her return to action, along with an assist in her second league appearance announces a positive start as she looks to make another strong impact in Turkish women’s football.
