Nigeria will have a strong representation among the match officials at the maiden U-18 Hockey5s Youth Africa Cup of Nations, as Enoch Ola, Charity Onosimuan, and Fatima Lewkot have been selected by the African hockey governing body to officiate at the continental championship. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from August 6 to 8, 2026.
Enoch Ola and Charity Onosimuan have been appointed as umpires for the competition, a recognition of their consistency, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to the growth of hockey officiating in Nigeria and across Africa. The duo will join a select group of top umpires from different African countries who will oversee matches during the three-day tournament.
