The Super Falcons of Nigeria have officially opened camp on the 13th July, 2026 in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Nine players reported to camp on the opening day as preparations got underway for the continental tournament.

The players already in camp are Super Falcons Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Veteran Forward Asisat Oshoala, Glory Ogbonna, Christy Ucheibe, Fatima Oloko, Oluwatosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran and Shukurat Oladipo.

The early arrivals took part in camp activities as the team are in anticipation to begin preparations for the competition, with more players expected to join the squad in the coming days.

With the mission for defending the championship title, Nigeria aim for another strong outing at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, with the Super Falcons looking to build momentum ahead of the tournament.

The arrival of more members of the squad is expected to intensify preparations is about to kickstart as the team continues its build-up in Casablanca.
