Governor Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday, paid a condolence visit to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Ajibola Basiru, following the death of his mother, Alhaja Sidikat Basiru.
During the visit, Governor Adeleke expressed his heartfelt sympathies to Senator Basiru and members of the bereaved family over the loss of their matriarch.
The governor prayed that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest and forgives her shortcomings, while also asking God to bestow strength, comfort and fortitude on the family to bear the irreparable loss.
Governor Adeleke noted that the loss of a mother is a painful experience and urged the family to take solace in the impactful life Alhaja Sidikat Basiru lived and the values she instilled in her children and those around her.
The visit underscored the spirit of compassion and unity that transcends political affiliations, as leaders and well-wishers continue to rally around the Basiru family during this difficult period.
