Brighton and Hove Albion have confirmed the signing of Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm on a five-year deal.

The 18-year-old right winger passed his medical on Saturday and will complete the £21.5million move when the summer transfer window opens on June 15

Yohanna has scored two goals and provided three assists across ten appearances in the 2026 season, with Stockholm in tenth. The winger also played in six 2025 Allsvenkan games, and has scored three in the Swedish Cup, despite only being in his first year of senior football.

“I’m looking forward to working with Zadok,” Hurzeler said in Saturday’s release. “Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player that can impact games in the final third.

“He’s still young, and will need time to adapt to the club and Premier League, but he’s an exciting player to watch and he brings the kind of creativity we know our fans will enjoy.

“He’s dynamic, has pace and likes to take players on. His attributes and ability will be a real addition to our attacking options.”

The Athletic reported in May that Brighton were in talks to sign Portuguese right-back Costinha from Greek club Olympiacos. They have monitored the 26-year-old throughout the season and are in discussions over a deal worth in the region of £11million.

Since then, former sporting director Jason Ayto has left the club after just nine months in the role, being replaced by Mike Cave.
