Edo Queens General Manager Rollanson Odeh Says the Team is ‘Much Ready’ for WAFU B Campaign as Preparations Intensify in Ouagadougou

Edo Queens continues the intensified preparations in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, as the team begins the final phase of its build-up ahead of its campaign in the competition.

Speaking during the team’s training session, the General Manager of Edo Queens, Rollanson Odeh, said the players have settled well in Burkina Faso and are fully focused on preparing for their opening game.

Odeh noted that training resumed early, with the players showing good commitment and determination as the technical crew continues to work on the team’s tactics and readiness for the competition.

According to him, the series of friendly matches played during the team’s preparations have helped to further strengthen and groom the squad, giving the players valuable experience and improving their understanding ahead of the campaign.

He also disclosed that the management has put all necessary arrangements in place to ensure a smooth 20-day campaign for the team. He added that the players’ allowances are up to date, stressing that the management has continued to provide the motivation and support needed for the squad to remain focused.

Odeh expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Enabulele, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, and the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, for their support and for ensuring that everything required for the team’s participation was put in place.

He said the responsibility now rests on the players to translate the support and preparations into positive performances on the pitch.

“With the level of preparation, the friendly matches and the support from the government, the team is much ready for the campaign. The players understand the mission, and their focus is to go out there and perform,” Odeh stated.

The Edo Queens management remains optimistic about the team’s prospects as the players continue their training in Ouagadougou, with attention now firmly fixed on their first competitive fixture.
