Ogbonda leaves the club with an impressive record, having guided Bayelsa Queens to the 2025 NWFL Premiership title and further cementing the club’s place among Nigeria’s elite women’s football teams.

Over the years, the highly respected coach has built a reputation as one of the most successful managers in Nigerian women’s football. Before his stint at Bayelsa Queens, he led Rivers Angels to the 2024 President Federation Cup title and enjoyed multiple league and Federation Cup triumphs with the Port Harcourt-based side.

His achievements also include guiding Confluence Queens to a second-place finish in the NWFL Premiership and qualification for the prestigious Super Six, while he steered Ibom Angels to back-to-back President Federation Cup finals, underlining his consistency in delivering results wherever he has coached.
