NUJ Guest Platform Hosts Accord Chairman Ahead of Osun Governorship Election.

The Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will on Friday, June 19, 2026, host the Chairman of the Accord Party in Osun State, Pastor Victor Akande, on its popular public engagement programme, Guest Platform.

Pastor Akande is expected to address a wide range of issues affecting the state, with particular focus on the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election and the preparedness of the Accord Party to participate in the crucial poll.

According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the Osun NUJ Council, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin, the programme is scheduled to commence at 11:00 a.m. at the NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo.

The event is expected to attract party faithful, political stakeholders, media practitioners, civil society representatives and members of the public who will have the opportunity to interact directly with the Accord Party chairman on matters of governance, democracy and the future of Osun State.

The NUJ Chairman noted that the Guest Platform remains a credible avenue for public office holders, political leaders and key stakeholders to engage citizens on issues of public interest.

Members of the public have been invited to attend the programme and participate in the discussion.
