The Osun State Football Coaches Association (OSFCA) has unveiled an impressive lineup of football experts for its 2026 Coaches Seminar, as the association intensifies efforts to improve coaching standards and promote football development across the state.
The three-day seminar, themed “Train the Trainers,” will hold from July 22 to 24, 2026, at the Lt. Gen Taoreed Lagbaja Sports Complex, St. Charles, Osogbo, bringing together football coaches, instructors and technical experts for intensive learning and professional development.
Leading the list of resource persons is President of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Ladan Bosso, who will be joined by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Director, Austin Eguavoen. Also expected to facilitate sessions are CAF A Licensed Instructor and Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-17 Women’s National Team, the Flamingos, Hakeem Busari, former NFF Assistant Technical Director, Siji Lagunju, and NIS/CAF Instructor, James Adesina.
The seminar is designed to expose participants to modern coaching methodologies, tactical innovations, leadership principles, player development and the latest trends in football coaching.
Speaking on the programme, Chairman of the Osun State Football Coaches Association, Coach Adebayo Adesina, described the seminar as a strategic investment in the future of football in Osun State.
“The game is evolving rapidly, and coaches must continue to develop if they are to produce players capable of competing at the highest level. This seminar is our contribution to building a new generation of technically sound, knowledgeable and innovative coaches.”
Adesina said the calibre of facilitators reflects the association’s determination to provide participants with quality learning opportunities
